About punt fun
punt fun is an on-chain PVP gaming platform built on Solana. It is built to give Solana degens a fun and interactive way to play against each other where the amount you bet can directly affect your win probability.
punt fun has multiple mechanics to reward activity including Points and Lotteries that incentivize the community to interact with each other. punt fun does not play house. punt fun does not require an account creation. punt fun will never own your tokens. Win or Lose is completely determined by the Verifiable Random Function (VRF). May the punt be ever in your favour.
Memes & Solana.
The thesis behind what we are trying to do is simple - have fun with your friends and tokens. Our goal is to provide memes and communities on Solana added utility by allowing players to play with whatever token they want. We are currently building out our infrastructure to accommodate as many high liquidity tokens as possible to ensure the best user experience, and are actively partnering with as many Solana communities as possible to build the most fun on-chain gaming experience.
Why Solana? Because its better, faster, cheaper and the community is unmatched. We believe that Solana is the future of Web3 and will be the leader in the space. We wanted something real-time without the unnecessary bridging or Layer 2 requirements of other protocols. We also wanted to build on an existing enigmatic and robust community that truly believes in its future. There really was no better option. We believe and we know you do too.
Fees.
Everytime you punt we take 2%. But we actually only take 1%
1% is used as treasure to pay for fees, infrastructure cost and operational cost.
1% is given directly back to the community in the form of lottery or redistribution.
98% goes to the winner of each round.
Point Mechanics.
Our point mechanics are simple. The more you play the more points you get.
IN THE EVENT OF TGE! The more points you get the larger your share of tokens at TGE ;)
We also offer bonus points and point multiples during certain partnerships and marketing campaigns so follow our socials for the most up-to-date information. You could literally be 2x your earned point by simply going through one of our partners ;).
Point Example:
Each round of Wheel of Fortune grants you 100 points for every 0.01 Sol. If you bet 1 Sol (or its equivalent) you will receive 10,000 points, Win or Lose.
On-Chain Verified Randomness Function (VRF)
All our games are on-chain and provably random. We use a VRF provided by Orao Network - docs here - to ensure complete fairness in the system.
We have no control over any of the games outcomes and are committed to providing a fair and secure environment for all our games.
Wheel of Fortune
Game Mechanics.
Wheel of Fortune works is a simple but addictive game of chance that increases your chance of winning the more you punt. Your win probability is directly proportional to the amount you bet against the total bet of the pool. For example, if you bet 0.5 Sol and the total amount in the pool during the time the bet is placed is 0.5 Sol, your win probability will be 50% after you have included your bet (Total pool is now 1.0 Sol).
After all bets are placed and the timer goes to 0, the VRF will randomly select a winner based on your win probability.
Once the round is over, the next round will immediately initiate.
Winning.
If you win, you may immediately claim your winnings in the by clicking on the “claim” button. Your winnings will be minus the 2% fee. If you do not claim immediately you can continue to play and all winnings will accumulate in the claim section until you are ready to claim your earnings.
Collusion.
At times we may think that the odds are always against us. Whales come in and punt large amounts as we watch helplessly as the tiny red arrow does not even come close to our punt. In these situations we have introduced the collussion mechanic, to look out for the little guy. Or in some cases just to add a little more fun to the games.
To do this you must first enable “Open to Collude” during your punt.
If this is selected you will see it on your player tile.
So long as your punt has < 35% probability over the total pool of winning AND the combined collussion amount is < 81%, you will be able to collude with anyone else that is open to collude. You are the whale now.
If you collude and win, your winnings will be based on the proportion of the colluded bet. For example, if you punt 0.1 Sol and collude with a pool to a total of 0.5 Sol, you now own 20% of the colluded pool. If the total pool is 1.0 Sol, you will then be entitled to 20% of the winnings or 0.2 Sol.
However, always remember Collusion is a choice, not a right.
